Our vision is a SW Development Community in which usage of Open Source and Commercial Software is stimulated wherever this is beneficial for ASML.
Part of this mission is to ensure at all times that ASML complies with the license obligations for the 3rd Party Software that it uses on its products; provide transparent information on usage and clear (financial) reporting.

Role and responsibilities
- Develop and deploy 3rd Party Vision and Mission
- Define and execute 3rd Party Roadmap
- Define, facilitate and improve/ automation execution of 3rd Party Processes
- Align with stakeholders across all business units in ASML (Scanner, EUV-Source, APPs, HMI, Brion)
- Define and help creating the strategy to further automate 3rd party SW BOMs (bill of materials) for our Products
- Implement reporting (financial) on usage of Commercial Software in our Products, in close collaboration with stakeholders like Finance and the business units
- Call for action: assess non-compliance scan on legacy SW results and follow up with stakeholders
- Contribute to best practices related to 3rd party compliance activities ie investigate & pilot new tools
- Speak the language of the software engineers
- Interact with Procurement, Legal and License Management
Education and experience
- 5-10 years of experience in software development
- SW architecture and SW design
- Managing stakeholders
- Understand concept of Open Source and licenses - Agile way of working
- Software Version Control (Git, SVN, Rational ClearCase) is nice to have
