Responsibilities
1. Handle regular routine businesses of the Legal Department, including standard quotation/PO review and approval, contract database management, template management, legal entity management
2. In cooperation with the Head of Legal & Compliance China and the Head of Legal Operations and Strategy, prepare legal budget and monitor spend
3. Implement global strategy for the selection of law firms/lawyers (and other legal consultants) and the regular review of existing firms
4. Implement and manage deployment and maintenance of tooling and technology for matter management, contract management, knowledge management, compliance management and spend management
5. Provide data analysis to improve efficiency and drive performance / continuous improvementRequired Skills and Experience
1. Minimum of 5 years’ operations experience, preferably in a legal or compliance environment.
2. Excellent project management, change management and organizational skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Significant experience with implementing data analytics, metrics, and business processes for global legal department.
5. Results-oriented with a strong ability to execute on required deliverables and drive results.
6. Ability to work with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
7. Strong financial skills and a strong interest in technology.
8. Ability to closely partner with, influence and motivate highly specialized professionals (lawyers).
9. True team player.
10. Ability to influence and leverage relationships outside the Legal Department; consensus building.
11. Attention to detail with excellent time management and multitasking/prioritization abilities.
