This vacancy is within the Software Infrastructure and Computer Systems (SICS) integration & industrialization team. The SICS department is delivering computer systems, operating systems, facilities and tools for the ASML product and provides the basic developmentplatform to other groups in ASML.

Role and responsibilities

Job Mission

The functional integrator leads the integration, aligns with the development crews and drives the integration of SICS deliverables to build the solution.

In your daily job you will make the plan for the integration activities in alignment with the product owner. You ensure that the delivering teams have their work packages defined, planned and are delivered against the agreed specifications. You take the lead in integrating the deliverables in a solution and ensure that the quality of the solution is as expected.

The SICS department is working agile following the SAFe framework and runs multiple agile release trains (ARTs). Additionally some projects are running outside the ART.The functional integrator plays a key role in managing the dependencies between ARTs and projects that are required to build the solution.

During the introduction phase of a solution you will be the contact person to drive the issue resolution process.

Job Description

The functional integrator has the following responsibilities:

Drives the integration of a solution in the product or system.
Creates and maintains the integration plan
Support engineers in creating the deliverables required to build the solution
Ensures quality of required deliverables by reviewing the test specifications and analyzing the test results
Defines the solution acceptance criteria and creates the solution test specification
Qualifies the solution, trouble shoots issues found during integration
Aligns with other integrators from ARTs, projects and teams to ensure fully aligned integration plans
Is the primary contact for issues found during integration and drives the resolution of these issues
Education

Education and experience

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Electronics or other related studies.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in software development
Experience in a high-tech environment.
Experience in integration of multiple deliverables (computer systems, operating systems, network and software applications) from multiple teams into one solution
Experience with the agile way of working (preferably SAFe)
Experience in managing deliverables of multiple teams/groups
Experience in defining a test approach and testing complex solutions
