The Channel Manager role is perfect for a communications professional with a passion for and understanding of digital communication platforms and tooling. We are looking for someone who can combine a holistic view with attention to detail and is able to translate complex concepts into digital business solutions. In this role you will manage the innovation and optimization of our internal communications channels. Key functions of the Channels team is to explore, create, maintain and implement new and innovative internal communications channels (Digital signage, a people-centered intranet, online events portal, corporate email tool, employee app, etc.) that are purposed to provide timely, relevant internal messages to our employees worldwide. Your job mission will be to become a channel expert who is able to implement channels solutions for a hybrid workplace.

Role and responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of internal communications channels and optimization efforts. For this you will work with a mix of internal teams and third-party subject matter experts to develop and execute short-term and long-term optimization efforts for our internal channel mix;
  • You have excellent project management skills and a natural ability to deal with a range of projects simultaneously;
  • Monitor ASML’s channels against evolving brand guidelines and consider directions for content owners to be proactive in this area, including guiding users to adhere to ASML’s corporate branding guidelines;
  • You will be responsible for creating and updating communications processes, policies, training documents and user guides related to channel management;
  • You are results and outcome-driven: incorporating KPI measurement including engagement, commitment and satisfaction scoring. You are responsible for the ongoing evaluation and measurement of channel effectiveness;
  • As a channel expert you establish relationships with communications colleagues and stakeholders in the business and share your knowledge to support them in adding value to the development of their employee communications strategy and plans.

Education and experience

  • Masters-level education in a relevant field;
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience which 3-5 years of experience in a channel management environment is preferred
  • Fluent English skills both spoken and written;
  • A proven track record in project management;
  • Understanding of graphic design and branding is preferred;
  • Knowledge of the latest digital and online trends;
  • This position requires a foundational understanding of O365, several Adobe tools and a variety of CMS systems.

This role is based at our headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You will join the Channel Management team reporting to the Communications Line Manager of the Internal Channels team.
The Channel Management team falls under the Digital communications team which is part of theCommunications Center of Expertise. The larger communications team at ASML (around 100 colleagues globally) with a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, offers inspiration and opportunities to develop yourself. Communications at ASML covers Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Community Engagement, Employer Branding as well as the Center of Expertise.
