Role and responsibilities

As many companies, ASML has a strong focus on managing the P&L. ASML has identified a need to improve on managing and optimizing invested capital. As one of the steps to realize this goal, a new Capital Efficiency team has been formed within the Finance organization. The mission of the team is to provide holistic and integral business insights to support high quality decision making on capital efficiency and balance sheet management. Within the team ASML is looking for an Business Controller focusing on Inventory and Excess & Obsolescence (E&O). Inventory and E&O is managed at ASML by the sector Supply Chain Management and by the various factories, but also from the different business lines. This role aims to support these sectors and business lines by creating value adding insights and decision support. As a Business Controller Supply Chain Management your responsibilities include:

  • Develop, deliver, review & enhance financial andnon-financial analyses focusing on Inventory and E&O, calculate, monitorand forecast different KPI’s like DIO, E&O and inefficient inventory
  • Work closely with other analytics teams such as withinthe Sourcing and Supply chain management department
  • Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly and yearly financialplanning and performance management cycles and enable insights to drivehigh-quality decision making by the business
  • Manage different stakeholders within Finance and withinthe business
  • Contribute to building the Finance analyticsorganization for ASML’s Inventory and E&O as part of a largertransformation program

Education and experience

  • Master degree, preferably in the area of Finance, Business Administration or Data & Analytics.
  • 3 – 7 Years of working experience within a financialanalytics environment, preferably with exposure to Inventory or SupplyChain processes
  • Strong knowledge of business process management,budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Experience of utilizing market leading analyticsprocesses and tools to support and drive business strategy. You are anexperienced user in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and preferablyhave experience with SAP (incl. BW, SAC, BPC and BO) and/or Spotfire orother reporting solutions like PowerBI
  • Ability and experience of effectively communicating andinfluencing across different levels of a large global organization
    Experience with working in a matrix organization /complex international business environment

Other information

The job is part of the Business Insights & Controldepartment within the ASML finance organization. Within this department, we are looking for an Business Controller/Analyst for our Capital Efficiency team. He or she reports into the head of Capital Efficiency and will interact with various departments in and outside of Finance.
