Introduction to the job

After a system (EUV or DUV machine) is shipped to a customer, the real ‘magic’ begins. Thousands of our engineers are dedicated to making sure that the systems are running 24/7. That makes the Customer Support (CS) department vital to the success of ASML.

Role and responsibilities

To improve the daily life of engineers and to enable the continuous growth of ASML, process and way of working improvements (capability step-up’s) need to be deployed.
One drives the deployment and implementation of non-product related (non pgp) changes in the Customer Support (CS) organization at customer sites (~60 sites worldwide) with end goal is to have business adopt the change in a sustainable way.

You do this by helping to get the change implemented into the day to day activities by our engineers. Your power of persuasion and ability to connect with different levels and departments is needed to smoothly help people transition their way of working.
Within your role focus is on the following responsibilities:

  • You take ownership on embedding the required change with the goal to have the business ready to adopt the impact in a sustainable way;
  • You will be designing and steering the change strategy while working together with the Program Manager, project team and line managers using standardized methods and frameworks;
  • Defining and agreeing on adoption project KPI's to report on progress;
  • The project team counts on you for managing the transformation in line with the needs of the international business in a goal-oriented manner;
  • You define and execute appropriate interventions to mitigate change management risks;
    In practice, half of your time is dedicated to create a project implementation and adoption plan, other half of your time is dedicated to realizing the required behavioral changes, to get the implementation in a sustainable way.

Education and experience

Who are you?

  • You are a professional (>8yrs) in the field of change management and project management within international and multicultural organizations;
  • Hands-on program implementations give you energy with a “doing it together” mindset;
  • Experienced in change management, business transformation and/or improvement process implementations;
  • Fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operational departments as with our engineers;
  • Skilled with Lean/Agile principles would be a plus.
