The (new) content team of ASML’s global communications department is responsible for developing engaging and impactful content for digital-first storytelling, such as stories, news items, presentations and multi-media productions, as well as visualizing data and technology, supporting ASML’s business goals and reputation as a leading high-tech company and attractive employer. The content team’s work, which is governed by a global content strategy, is visible in a wide range of channels, such ason our website, intranet, our social media channels and in corporate projects and presentations. The content team supports the entire organization.

Role and responsibilities

As a data visualization/presentation specialist, you will design and develop presentations and visual content according to the needs of internal stakeholders and the company's guidelines. You will be working within the Global Communications team, located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You will report to the Head of Creative Content and work together with several stakeholders from different departments and levels at ASML. As a data visualization/presentation specialist you are responsible for:

  • Creating impactful visual content, mainly presentations and infographics, with a strong focus on our technology;
  • Working together with subject expert writers/editors to conceptualize topics and present them clearly and concisely, using your visual design, storyboarding and data visualization skills;
  • Maintaining and updating master presentation decks;
  • Creating multiple presentations for key events at short notice;
  • Maintaining visual brand style standards internally and with external agencies;
  • Develop presentations and graphic assets, and making them available for use across departments;
  • Proactively sharing information, communicating the status and completion of assignments in a timely fashion;
  • Recognizing business needs and developing draft approaches;
  • Ensuring that all content meets standards of accuracy, fairness, honesty and impartiality.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia creation or relevant field of study, or equivalent combined education and experience;
  • At least seven years of relevant experience in a technical environment;
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry a plus;
  • Experience working in integrated communications and/or international teams is a plus;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of design programs including Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Ability to translate complex technology into compelling visual storytelling;
  • Ability to create digital animations, video and/or graphic assets;
  • Intercultural and effective communication;
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels;
  • Exception attention to detail and organization skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines and changing priorities / conditions.
