Role and responsibilities
We are looking for an engineer with affinity in the field of electronics, software, safety systems and certification to strengthen our research team. The role will be responsible for technical interfacing between Hardware (Camera integration, Safety system design) and Software.
We are working in a dynamic environment and a with multi-disciplinary team to drive innovation in the field of semiconductor metrology. Your work will consist of planning, designing and implementing electrical infrastructure, as well as hardware-software integration for measurement setups.
This is a hands-on role, often working in a cleanroom environment, performing electrical hardware integration. Work will be done in close collaboration with the LabVIEW programmers in the team. Another important aspect of the work is assessment of safety risks and designing systems to mitigate these risks.
Education and experience
Broad role rather than going into depth.
Quick learner, picking up very many different tasks
A hands-on mentality.
Experience with conducting a safety and risk analysis.
Experience with creating safety systems.
Experience with electrical engineering, for example connection diagrams and cable designs.
Experience with programming LabVIEW is a pro.
Experience with (CMOS) cameras is a pro, i.e. integrating, peltier cooling, understanding readout electronics.
Experience with safety certification processes is a pro.
