The ASML Factory training division, located in Veldhoven, The Netherlands is seeking highly talented individuals to join our innovative and creative team of trainers, developers, project leaders and architects to accelerate our leadership in delivering design and Manufacturing solutions to our internal customers.
ASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have several factories in the USA, Asia and Europe.
Role and responsibilities
As a technical trainer you have an important role in the ASML organization where the main focus is on helping our factory engineers gaining valuable skills for their ASML careers. Furthermore, as Technical Trainer you will be responsible for delivering technical, safety and tool training. Furthermore, you will support training development for all engineers working in our cleanrooms (factories) and at the customer sites. Our mission is to train knowledge, skills and attitude in an efficient, effective and attractive way. You get the chance to play a key role in the development of our current and future workforce. We are building a new factory for manufacturing the future generation machines. This requires new skills and knowledge from our colleagues to be able to master this new technological challenge. Your focus will be to train the new skills, processes and way of working (WoW) in a factory-like classroom or on the job.Therefore, having a training background in a technology driven environment is a must in order to succeed in this role. Other forms of learning include Virtual Reality and e-learning.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in education (or equivalent in experience) with training or education in a technical environment (Fontys Education).
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is necessary.
- Verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with training contexts in technical environments and / or products.
- Experience providing Instructor Led Training (ILT) of complex technical products and technical skills.
- Proficiency in in class training development.
- Proficiency in e-learning development.
