A challenging opportunity within Customer Supply Chain Management division for professionals with a quality driven mindset.

Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires logistic quality assurance on all levels in the supply chain. Dead on Arrival (DoA) of customer spare parts is the most undesired form of non-quality in the supply chain. DoAs can result in unacceptable downtime of the machines at our customers sites.

We have installed Clean Bench inspections in almost all our field warehousesto capture DoAs. With efforts of local CS and CSCM colleagues majority of the issues we capture locally can be judged locally for follow-up actions (scrap/repair/requalify/repack/clean).

Clean Bench Quality Coordinator is responsible mainly to support in issue resolution (IRR’s), performing root-causes of repeat issues and driving their structural solution by connecting with responsible owner. Also one of the main tasks is to keep track of budget and communicating with LSO ( Logistics Service Operations) colleagues on monthly invoicing data and 3PL performance.

Role and responsibilities

As Clean Bench Quality Coordinator, you will make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by acting as support for quality issues in our global warehouses for our service parts and tools. Furthermore, you will coordinate improvement projects for our internal quality processes. The logistical processes are executed in up to 50 (outsourced) warehouses in Asia, US and Europe. Therefore international teamwork is a significant part of the job.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as SLS (Second Line Support) in reviewing issues captured in Clean bench and provide expert opinion on follow up actions : repack, send for repair, scrap etc
  • Collect facts and figures for running improvement initiatives for structurally solving field irregularities ( IRR support)
    - Analyze multi-hitters (occurrences with >1 hit)
    - Perform root-cause analysis
  • Act as sparring partner for BLs and D&E Parts Quality Team
  • Monitor adherence to CB budget and jump on observed differences in forecasted inspections records
  • Be the focal point of contact for the field with regard to CB budget, performance, audit and process improvements

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or Technical area (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration ) with 0-3 years’ experience + internship
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Technical area with 0-1 years + internship
  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Experiencewith quality and/or quality tools: nice to have
  • Preferably had experienced handling escalations and other urgent requests
  • SAP experience – very nice to have
  • MS-Office skilled, specifically MS Excel

Clean Bench Quality Coordinator will be part of the CSCM Quality team in Veldhoven. This team is responsible for securing (Logistics) Quality of parts so material availability can be assured for ASML’s world-wide operating installed base. To reach this goal, the CSCM Quality team is responsible for operational work streams like Clean bench operations, stock-purge requests and field support for issue resolution of different type. Apart from that, team performs DoA root-cause analysis and drives and executes a program of process improvements. This position will help being successful in both, preventing our customers from getting DoA’s and reducing waste and non-quality issues within our internal processes.
