-Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of ASML products. In this sector, departments such as Mechatronics, Mechanics and Electronics specify, design and qualify the various modules of the ASML products. D&E has more than 11,000 engineers over multiple locations (mainly in NL, USA and China) and is continuing to grow.

We are looking for a manager that will drive the governance processes in D&E, coordinate execution and improvement of the main planning and technical competence processes, evaluate and establish as necessary a PMO function for the D&E line organization for both the product development and the capability activities, as well as support the Head of Finance and PMO in driving the main capability planning and performance processes. You will lead both a team and the required initiatives to make this a success. You will work close to the D&E senior leadership team.
Role and responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 5 FTE, possibly growing
- Drive execution and improvement of governance processes
- Drive execution and improvement of planning processes
- Ensure coordination across activities and clusters, also globally
- Drive coordination with staff functions (HR/Finance/MSO/Strategy/Portfolio)
- Organize activities of the Workgroup Finance, Strategy and Portfolio
- Drive definition and organization of PMO within D&E
- Drive the D&E KPI setting and business performance cycle
Education and experience
-Preferably Master, or Bachelor degree in business or technical topics, with focus on organizational or process improvement aspects
-At least 10 years of work experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment and matrix organizations
-Extensive experience with the design and/or implementation of new processes and change and improvement projects in a complex stakeholder landscape. Experience as PMO is a plus.
-A proven track record in leading teams and collaborating across organizations
-Fluent in English and another European language
