Introduction to the job

We are mainly responsible for mechanical, electrical, software and mechatronics issue and provide the decent solution to external and internal customers.

We are looking for hardworking and results-oriented Mechatronics Design engineers with a passion for control algorithm and Matlab programming, who enjoy working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team responsible for developing optical sensor systems used within ASML’s product.

As a Wilton YS Sensor Mechatronics DE in TW, our responsibility is to offer timely support to any sensor escalation for Internal and External customer to prevent system long down due to sensor issue and sensor swap.

On top of escalation, we also support structural investigation and offer decent design solution.

Role and responsibilities

• Able to provide quick containment with data driven analysis for YS sensor issues.
• Communicate the issue status updates on a daily basis with WLT DE team
• Able to clarify the issue for accurate problem description, root cause deep-dive and drive for solution from technical perspective
and have helicopter view of issue.
• Evaluation of technical issues, risks, and dependencies for Projects and able to do mechatronics design in algorithm via Matlab.
• Interfacing with customers and other stakeholders to gather a complete understanding of their requirements.
• Interact with Sensor DE colleagues in Wilton for driving the containment and solution.

Education and experience

Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering/ ElectricalEngineering is preferred with motion/servo control background.
3-5 years Industry experience within motion/stage/robotcontrol domain.
Candidate should have direct experience in the designand test of mechatronic systems/equipment.
Familiar with MATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox.
Ability to apply “classical control theory” and“digital control theory” including frequency domain, stability(Nyquist/Bode plots), Velocity-Acceleration-Jerk (VAJ),feedback/feedforward, dynamics, gain and phase, transfer functions,continuous/discrete feedback control, real time controls, etc.
Strong technical writing and communication skills in English, including presenting results based on strong statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities.
