Your team enables material availability from our suppliers at the right quality and cost for our customers. You will drive timely execution of the Requisition to Pay process flawlessly and contribute to ASML’s supplier performance. You will facilitate optimal personal development of all team members and coach them in their short- and long term challenges. Alongside driving the activities of your team you will work closely together with the other managers within the Supplier Operations departmentto actively contribute to further develop our roadmap and participate in structural improvement projects further optimizing our processes.
Role and responsibilities
- Manage a team of both Material Planners andBuyers
- Drive people and process performance and developmentand secure continuous service for internal and external customers (e.g.factories, suppliers, sourcing & supply chain(SS&C), customersupply chain, product lifecycle management, category, logistics, andquality)
- Act on operational and tactical level in managementteams of the S&SC Management department and drive goals in line withthe S&SC vision
- Coordinate and manage operational annual plans
- Build and maintain a network of in- and externalstakeholders/partners and represent the organization
- Evaluate organizational design for own functionaldiscipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changesand improvements
- Coach and continuously develop employees
Education and experience
- Relevant Bachelor degree (e.g. Business Administration,Supply Chain, etc.) or equivalent experience
- 8-12 years relevant experience in a complex supplieroriented environment
- Knowledge as well as a proven track record of ERPsystems preferable SAP, Ariba, or Oracle.
- People management and previous procurement or supplychain management experience
- Excellent social and communication skills anddemonstrated ability to coach and develop employees
- Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuousimprovements methodology
