The mission of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate outgoing shipments include the Planning, internal processing required to move material to shipping and the transportation operations within ASML including the activities of organizations that provide transportation services to ASML, verify and retain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. This position will also be responsible for the factory packaging materials including maintaining adequate pool sizes, ordering and tracking. Interacting with other departments such as Manufacturing, Logistics and Customer Support is a daily function.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Oversee a team consisting of Manages 3PL transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization’s products.
  • Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
  • Direct activities of performing repairs and maintenance to ASML leased vehicles.
  • Assure the security and safety of all freight.
  • Owner of traffic and packaging budget, manage efficiencies and owner of cost reduction programs.
  • Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
  • Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries to domestically and internationally.
  • Oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed. Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
  • Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
  • Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of components, parts, and finished product to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet ASML delivery schedules.
  • Drive performance management activities for all 3 p/l in scope as well as internal teams utilizing KPI dashboards and management report out. Drive performance across all teams for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Set operations policies and standards, including determination of safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods.
  • Coordinate with team to have daily communication between Planning, Delivery Control and Shipping for packaging requirements and forecasts.
  • Troubleshooting and solve complex issues in a methodical manner.
  • Fluent in Customs Regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations (including Hazardous Material) and make recommendations.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 5yrs min experience.
  • Customs regulations.
  • General computer proficiencies.
  • Moderate SAP experience level.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office suite.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
  • Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule – twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
  • This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
