SAC Planning Consultant

Introduction to the job

This role is situated in our Big Data Analytics (BDA) department, specifically in our “Corporate Analytics” stream. We are organized in Agile Release Trains (ARTs) according to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). You will take part in one of our Scrum teams delivering financial planning applications in SAC, within in our Financial Planning & Analytics Agile release train. Our teams are a mix of young talent and senior specialists and have a strong focus on delivering business value for our stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities

As a SAC Planning developer, you’ll directly contribute to our delivery of financial planning applications in our SAP Analytics Cloud system:

• Assist and advise in financial planning requirements (both technically and functionally)
• Design, build, and maintain dimensions and models to meet various planning requirements.
• Configure and use planning features to input data, distribute data, simulate, and analyze currencies.
• Use and configure predictive forecast, smart predict, rolling forecasts, and value driver trees.
• Configure, use, and schedule data actions and allocations.
• Analyze and explain planning integration, delivered content, and planning connections.

Furthermore, together with your fellow SAC peers within ASML, you will actively grow and build our SAC competence as a whole by sharing knowledge and developing standards and best practices.

Education and experience

• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud: Planning (C_SACP)
• Extensive experience in application development (hands-on) in SAP Analytics Cloud (depending on seniority)
• Designing dimensions and planning models
• Creating stories, data actions & allocation processes
• SAC Scripting (including complex scripting APIs)
• Implementing Inbound and Outbound Integration with external applications or information
• Familiar with SAP BW (both as a source of as well as destination, e.g. for retraction)
• In-depth knowledge of (functional) financial planning processes
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting
• Basic general consulting skills

In your daily activities you will be closely collaborating and align with your peer developers, the system architect, our business counterparts and other direct stakeholders to ensure quality of team deliverables.
