A challenging project management opportunity for academic professionals with experience in new product introductions, lifecycle management, supply chain or production in high tech-low volume environments.
Role and responsibilities
Interfacing ASML’s Business Lines, we manage the installed base products and services including (engineering) changes and the phase out of products – taking supply chain requirements into account. It is our mission to enable concurrent engineering, manage complex product changes, secure the availability of materials and optimize demand and supply and pursue volume planning excellence.
As Project Lead, you’ll make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining and managing the supply chain project plan of platforms, industrialization and phase-out strategies. Managing risks and requirements at product level. Manage requirements at function development level. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills and you’ll guide and coordinate your team of supply chain team members.
Manage supply chain Life Cycle Management (LCM) & Software Infrastructure and Computer Systems (SICS) for DUV products in NPI and release-for-volume
Drive IRM from PLM/SCM perspective, during the product lifecycle for DUV LCM & SICS products
Manage supply chain requirements & deliverables through key decision gates of ASML’s Product Generation Process
Manage material availability balanced against customer service levels, inventory, quality, costs and risks: Identify bottle necks, prepare decisions and take actions towards engineering, suppliers, factories and field
Education and experience
MSc degree in (industrial) engineering or supply chain.
5 – 10 yrs work experience, of which 2 – 5 yrs experience in new product introductions preferably in high-tech, low-volume environments.
