Introduction to the job
Specialized fibers for light generation and transport are highly important to ASML’s metrology systems and scanner. We are seeking a senior design engineer who can help us to further develop the production process of these fibers.
Role and responsibilities
Work in a high tech fiber manufacturing facility
Work with a team of engineers & scientists of various backgrounds
Deliver reports, documents and fiber material
Collaborate with academic partners and suppliers
Identify key process improvements for production output and yield
Communicate gaps and solution directions to stakeholders
Education and experience
M.Sc or Ph.D. in physics, material science or process engineering
4-7 years of relevant experience in a high tech environment
Ideally, experience in specialty fiber manufacturing
A track record in process improvements and, ideally, Sig Sigma experience
Preferably experience as a senior design engineer or architect in a high-tech company
