Introduction to the job

The Supply Chain Planner is part of the Customer Supply Chain Management team. The team supports TW CSCM organization and business in improving performance and decision making. This team also supports field CS and operational teams by securing a trusted reporting framework, developing new insights through analysis, enhancing expertise in planning and optimization.

Role and responsibilities

The Supply Chain Planner works closely with field CS, planners and HQ various stakeholders, plays an important role in consolidating and converting vast amount of data into relevant, value adding information. You will play the role of connecting the dots from fields, perform data and process analysis to support better decision-making.You will also create management reports that provide insights in KPIs, trends and forecasts.In collaboration with various seniority of stakeholders, you will develop, implement, and drive solutions (e.g., process improvements , operational enhancements, etc.) for the challenges we face.

Key elements of the job include:

  • Service parts/tools planning: You will need to communicate and align with all levels within organization and thrive in high pressure situations. Position right level of materials in the right place to support business entitlements.
  • Demand & supply management: Collaborate with stakeholders to review demand history, future business outlook, and actively manage inventory turns. Analyze usage & delivery performance, and take required actions to meet business requirement.
  • Reporting: Support business with reporting, analysis, and improvement proposals. Deliver quality communication on supply chain performance. Manage internal/external planning KPI, employ help from internal stakeholders, drive efficient and adequate customer reports.
  • Root cause & corrective action: Assess & defines issues, conduct root cause analysis, identifies opportunities for improvement, take initiatives to resolve issues arising from operations or raised by other regions/sectors, and develop corrective actions via data analysis and structured reports.
  • Maintain close relationships with internal customers on operational level. Drive towards internal customers to maximize added value of CSCM.

Education and experience

  • Relevant Bachelor degree in Industrial engineering, Computer science, Business administration, Economics, Supply chain or similar.
  • 5~8+ years relevant experience in business analyst, supply chain planning, process control, procurement, etc., in a large international environment with understanding of cultural differences.
  • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech industries or otherwise highly complex and cross-sectorial business setting.

  • Excellent professional communication in English and Mandarin.
  • Familiar with Microsoft product (ex: Excel/ PowerPoint) & ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Pro-active attitude and “can do” mentality.Initiatives and actions to drive for improvement. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Highly analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload. Good sense in common business complexity.
  • Can manage high dynamics, whilst having the drive to structure and continuously improve.
  • Advanced problem solving skills. Able to identify relevant supply chain drivers, as well as perseverance and project management skills to generate impact.
  • Capable to make deep-dive analyses whilst maintaining top-level overview regarding problem & solutions.
