Introduction to the job

The ALDI (Alignment & Diagnostic) Designer Engineer/ Data Analyst is responsible forimproving the Qualification & Performance Diagnostics of all CollectorMirrors. The candidate reports directly to the Group Lead of EUV SpectrallyPure Collection group and works within the Scaled Agile (SAFe) organization.

The Collector Mirror is responsible for transmitting the EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) light generated via Plasma (Tin based) into the ASML Scanner Systems. The Plasma Light generates debris that contaminate the Mirrors, therefore each mirror has to be cleaned and qualified. To secure maximum transmission of light (Power), the Mirrors reflectivity rate should be determined as accurately as possible. In addition, during the lifetime of the mirror, its performance needs to be monitored and improved. We need 1x Design Engineer to own the HW and SW improvements for qualification of the Collectors Mirror; industrialization of the collector qualification tool SW and functional development of RADON advanced diagnostics for monitoring and improving the collector mirror performance.

Role and responsibilities

As Design Engineer/ Data Analystyou are responsible for:

-Optimization of HW and SW, focusing on improving accuracy of the Qualification of Collector Mirrors,
-Driving improvements of Collector diagnostics
-Automate data processing (python is required),
-Develop new functionalities in RADON diagnostics

Support operational issues :
-Analyze field data (Collector Mirror performance & degradation),
-Determine improvements, associate gain and propose roadmap.
-Learn & understand about off tool SW infrastructure and collaborate with IT.
-Operate as a team-player in cross-functional teams.
-Providing regular updates on the status of work viapresentations and/or other ASML documentation.

Education and experience

PhD or Master’s in Physics/Optics or Engineering.

-Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience within the semi-conductor industry is a plus,
-Required experience in python,
-Experience in design of experiments & experimental investigations,
-Experience with SAFe or Agile way of working is a plus.
