Role and responsibilities

You are an excellent manager in an Agile/SAFe world. You are practical, like to support an Agile Release Train, and develop and coach a team of scrum masters to become a high-performing team.

In the position of Release Train Engineer (RTE) of the EUV System performance ART, you and the team of scrum masters are key in the operation and performance of the ART. Together with CPO and System Architect you run the PIPE / System demo and other rituals to make sure the ART delivers on time and according the agreement towards the stakeholders such as Epic Owners and PCMs.

As part of the staff of the EUV System Performance department, you will closely work with the GLs, CPO and System Architect. You are operational responsible for delivering with as agreed in PIPE. Using your analytic thinking and excellent interpersonal skills, you ensure the cooperation between the teams in the ART and cooperation with external interfaces runs smooth and all impediments are solved.

  • Coach and manage the team of scrum masters within the EUV system performance ART.
  • Make clear towards the group leads what the staffing and competence needs are for the ART
  • With team scrum master provide up to date status information of the running program increment towards stakeholders such as Epic Owners and PCMs
  • Organize execute the rituals as agreed in the ART, of which the quarterly PIPE.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives of the EUV system performance ART

Education and experience

  • Masters in Engineering or Physics or related field.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in developing, integrating, testing of complex multi-disciplinary products.
  • Experience in agile way of working where multiple agile teams deliver together.
  • Experience in managing a team of technical professionals.
  • Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments.
  • Preferred candidates have physics background and knowledge or willing to acquire technical understanding of the EUV scanner products and key business drivers: overlay, imaging, focus and productivity.
