Within ASML, D&E is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of integrated solutions that meet business requirements. This responsibility also includes the specification and trade-offs across sectors.

The department supplies resources, means and methods and technology to ensure the parts quality in all product phases.

Manages quality initiatives (DOA cases from CS/Field) and processes, quality improvements, customer satisfaction, quality assurance. Drives the implementation and adherence to quality processes in APP BL (HMI). Enhances the collaboration between sectors and stakeholders (D&E, CS, FAC, S&SC) on the quality transition towards a Living Quality Culture.
Strong logic and critical thinking; willing to drive for results with limit and targeted cycle times

Role and responsibilities

As a Quality General Specialist within HMI, an ASML company, Development & Engineering you will be operating in a fast paced and multidisciplinary development environment to handle whole HMI DOA (dead on arrival) cases escalated by the filed stakeholders.
Using your personal skills, you will work closely together with the CS, factory, S&SC, and D&E to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the DOA processes and results, in alignment with the ASML Global Quality team and targets.

The mainresponsibilities are:
Monitoringall stakeholders progress ensuring all stakeholders contribute to thecommittee by their own roles.
Determiningdata-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
Providingdepartments with quality planning and support.
Preparingand maintaining quality management documentation.
Weeklyroutines:
Beforethe meeting
-CS local reviews all MNswith code G
-CS local creates DOA intakereport
-CS local creates AIR issue
-CS local adds AIR issue tothe HMI DOA ambition list in AIR
-Facilitator prepares themeeting
Duringthe meeting
-Facilitator goes through thenew DOA cases with the team using the DOA intake report and for eachone containment actions (e.g., stock purge/check, inspection, etc.) and RCAlocation and RCA responsible are determined
-Facilitator goes through theexisting DOA cases with the team and communicates/requests progressstatus (e.g., in RCA location, RCA ongoing, RCA findings and proposesolutions, solution status, etc.) and checks cycle time
-Facilitator updates AIRissue accordingly and once there is a proposed solution, hands it over to thecorresponding sector
Afterthe meeting
-CSCM executes returnshipment when required
-Sector representativesexecute containment actions
-Facilitator creates SPS
-ZQM/CS local communicate RCAand containment actions to customer
-Program/sectors executeproposed solutions
-Facilitator analyzes andreports DOA rate and the results of DOA process with stakeholders(monthly/quarterly basis)

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master’s degree in physics / optics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronics, industrial engineering, or related.

Broad (at least 3 -5 years, preferably >5 years) experience in high-tech industry, and complex modules, with a focus on quality management or part quality or project management in engineering. We encourage candidates with experience with Quality systems and – methods to apply for this vacancy (preferably Six Sigma Green of Black Belt) as well as candidates with experience in engineering towards production processes.
