Within ASML, the Satellite team works closely with counterparts located in ASML Wilton office in CT, US, and is responsible for the products including YS Sensor, DUV and EUV modules. The team is also the representative of the Wilton team in Asia area to handle design changes, issue escalation and resolution in field and factory.
This job vacancy is specific for DUV Reticle Handler product.
We are mainlyresponsible for mechanical, electrical, software and mechatronics issue andprovide the decent solution to external and internal customer.
As aMechanical Design Engineer, your mission is to specify, realize and qualifythe design on sub-systems involving robotics, mechatronics, precisionmechanics, and/or optomechanics.
Work on the RS/RHparts/tooling design issue and transfer TPD(Technical Product Document) toAsia supplier for manufacturing.
Responsiblefor the mechanical engineering quality, component EoL(End of Life) request ofDUV Reticle Handler and Stage.
Support theManufacturing and Customer Support organization to meet the output andquality requirements per PL request.
The function to be filled in Linkou office (ASML Taiwan, Linkou)
During the knowledge transfer and project collaboration with ASML Wilton DE is expected. Candidate must be able to able to travel several times a year to Wilton, USA.
High flexibility is a must.
Role and responsibilities
Is able to develop design concepts, perform engineering analysis, build and test prototypes, generate detail CAD designs, create engineering drawings, partner with suppliers, and support system integration and test.
Is able to translate customer requests into clear specifications in the mechanical domain.
Is able to communicate with engineers & architects from other disciplines (electrical, mechatronics, physics, optics).
Is responsible for the technical product documentation using 3D modeling(NX) and BOM structures in order to unambiguously explain the design to suppliers.
Deliver the functional specification (EPS), test specification (TPS), design specification (EDS) and qualification document (TAR), TPD and D-BoM of the Mechanical parts and modules.
Support DUV RH/RS module manufacturing and customer support organization with high end troubleshooting capability.
Manage outsourcing of Mechanical related parts/modules.
Education and experience
Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years ofexperience in a system/module mechanical design engineer role.
