Then the job of junior project leader for industrialization within the Handling & Transport Technology department (H&TT) might be the one for you!

Role and responsibilities

As a junior project leader for industrialization, you will plan, organize, steer and keep track of the progress of the industrialization deliverables for newly developed products. You will drive several production milestones through the preparation of the required set of deliverables. An example of a production milestone is the work preparation for the final assembly of several machine parts in our Veldhoven factory.

As junior project leader for industrialization you’ll:

  • Act as owner of production milestones in scope of project and align with involved operational sectors and suppliers

  • Set up and maintain work breakdown and planning for a broad set of industrialization deliverables (such as, making procedures, knowledge transfer, design review input and documentation)

  • Execute and report on team plan and pro-actively align with the project leader

  • Set up project organization and assist group leader in planning and budgeting of resources

  • Be ready for action when dealing with urgent matters that can arise at any time

Education and experience

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, electrical engineering or other similar education
  • A big plus: already based in the Netherlands

3-7 years of relevant work experience in:

  • A service or production environment with high tech products and complex production processes, for instance working as an industrialization engineer
  • Industrialization (steer development with focus on manufacturable and serviceable solutions)
  • Planning, reporting and teamwork

Context of this position

D&E and Mechanical Development
Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the design of the ASML products. The cluster Mechanical Development (MDEV) is designing, building and testing mechanical systems and sub-systems which are fitted into the end products.

Handling & Transport Technology
The department Handling & Transport Technology (H&TT) drives the industrialization aspects of mechanical designs, meeting manufacturing and service requirements of ASML products during the entire life cycle.
The group Manufacturing and Equipment Engineering is responsible for the industrialization of ASML products, embedding a system’s industrial performance (cycle time, reliability, availability, and cost) into the specifications, and performing work preparation for the system build in ASML’s factories and for the use and maintenance at customer sites.
