Introduction

As Senior HR Services Specialist you will act as at the crossing where HR processes meets IT. ASML has set up a People Portal as central hub for their employees and managers to find answers they have and to trigger HR related transactions. The People Portal (running on ServiceNow) is used for HR Case Management and Knowledge Management. The People Portal plays a vital role in the experience ASML would like to provide to their employees.

In this role you will focus specifically on maintaining and further innovate our People Portal. You act as a subject matter expert towards Business key players and Business process owners in the ASML organization. You are able to challenge the business about their requirements, translate these business requirements into the right functional specifications and guide the development teams to realize new solutions. The team you will work with is operating in an Agile environment.

Role & Responsibilities

As a successful Senior HR Service Management Specialist, you challenge and translate HR-related business requirements into system related requirements, support with testing of Change Requests, deliver changes to the application landscape and participate in initiatives and improvement projects regarding HR processes and systems. Furthermore, you:

  • support with incoming questions related to the system and pro-actively work on avoiding incoming questions;
  • understand technical aspects and are able to explain them to business stakeholders in understandable language;
  • contribute to write out user stories, including acceptance criteria and definition of done;
  • support with creating functional documentation, procedures, Configuration Workbooks and work instructions;
  • align with key stakeholders of HR and other parties that use the solution;
  • interface with technical counterparts from IT or vendors.

Education & Experience

As Senior HR Services Specialist you have:

  • a Bachelor or Master degree in the field of Organization Management or Technology;
  • 5+ years’ experience as Business Process Analyst, Functional ServiceNow Consultant or a similar position;
  • a detailed hands-on / customizing knowledge of ServiceNow.

Also you have proven experience in HR business processes, People Development or the Learning / Knowledge Management domain and experience in translation of Business Requirements into IT Requirements and designing the correct solution (direction) corresponding these business requirements.

The Senior HR Service Management specialist position is part of the worldwide HR Processes and Information (P&I) team. The mission of P&I is to be a trusted partner and enable our stakeholders in their mission by providing a consistent, efficient and customer centric HR system landscape and people insights which inform business decisions. P&I is the functional owner of the main HR systems and is responsible for HR reporting and analytics.

This is a full-time position (40 hours).
