The Operations Product Portfolio Manager will be responsible for engaging the cross-sectoral team to drive outsourcing initiatives with the goal of aligning current product line with the vision of the future factory business portfolio. This person will lead cross functional matrixed teams to develop outsourcing and transfer plans and then drive team to meet scheduled plans. The candidate will evaluate products for make/buy decisions, taking into account the manufacturing competencies and cost or time to market for a competitive advantage for ASML in technology.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to the strategic long term planning and manufacturing roadmap of ASML.
  • Establish and drive outsourcing projects. This includes obtaining funding, developing tooling plans, working with development engineering to upgrade documentation, and managing qualification plans.
  • Communicate clear plans to management.
  • Manage the cross functional team.
  • Clear reporting and escalation of issues/barriers to senior management.

Education and experience

  • Minimum BS in a technical field.
  • Minimum of (5) years experience in Project Leadership Role.
  • Has interfaced with internal/external customers at a technical and task management level.
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with lean/six-sigma manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience in ERP (preference SAP).

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
