Role and responsibilities
As a Pack & Ship planner, you will monitor all outbound activities such as machine shipments (D4E), service parts and commercial packages. You are keeping track of progress within outbound area, making sure that products leave the warehouse on time. Besides monitoring the process, you are also responsible for making sure all packaging, containers and consumables are on stock and delivered on time to the outbound departments. You will be responsible for planning the allocations of outbound docks and communication to carriers and the LSO and planning departments.
As a Pack & Ship planner, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
·Monitor the influx of products to be shipped using the ‘Delivery for Excellence’ (D4E) tooling and SAP.
·Tracking and troubleshooting of ongoing shipments in cooperation with LSO, forwarders and Planning departments to secure event communication and on-time delivery.
·Work in conjunction with other warehouse team leaders, assist with and provide back-up support for management of machine de-installs/re-installs, complex upgrades, and pre-install materials.
·Secure on time availability of packagingmaterials by ordering packaging materials and buy-parts.
·Order flight containers for machine shipments.
·Plan the outbound docks by allocating all carriers to the required and available dock.
·Create invoices and shipping documentation.
·Create transport requests for refurbishment systems and modules.
·Participate in continuous improvement activities or projects with planning and operational expertise. Points out recurring problems and participates to their solution.
·Contact person of Pack & Ship related issues for Operational Support.
·Weekly report performance and volume measurements.
Education and experience
·MBO+ or HBO degree in the field of logistics, warehousing or production.
·At least 2 years of work experience within logistics and or production/planning.
·Hands-on work experience in a technical production or warehouse environment.
·Preferably experience with trouble-shooting: analyzing problem, finding root-cause and determining solution.
·Knowledge of quality improvement methods.
·Experience in problem analysis of products and processes.

The sector Shared Services Warehouse, Logistics & Tool operations is responsible for the storage, planning, assembling and shipment of ASML material, eg systems, upgrade packages etc.
As a Pack & Ship planner, you will work partially in the cleanroom. This is an unique and clean working environment, in which it is required to wear a cleanroom suit. Moreover, you will work in a 2-shift schedule (support rooster). A support shift schedule consists of an early shift one week and a late shift the next week. You have a 4 day workweek and are expected to work 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks. Please note; a certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’/VOG) and following additional training and courses is required for this position.
