Introduction to the job

To support our customers, ASML keeps parts and tools in Warehouses close to our customers. In total we currently have >50 of these local warehouses globally, which are outsourced to a Logistics Service Supplier (3PL).

The Warehousing team is tasked to make sure the warehouses are ready to support our customers in the most efficient way, which means that all facilities are fit for purpose. Facilities in our warehouses include Clean Technology Infrastructure (such as clean rooms) to inspect parts, clean tools and store optics, to make sure we supply our customers with parts and tools in the right quality.

Role and responsibilities

Job mission

  • Prepare requirements to select suppliers to install, upgrade, maintain and repair Clean Technology Infrastructure (cleanrooms, clean benches and purge facilities) in the service warehouses in the field;
  • Manage the selected suppliers to install, upgrade, maintain and repair Clean Technology Infrastructure (cleanrooms, clean benches and purge facilities) in the service warehouses in the field;
  • Ensure this infrastructure is operated flawlessly by the 3PL’s by auditing on adherence of the right procedures, protocols and training and by putting proper controls in place.

Job description

  • Plan and manage the budget for Clean Technology Infrastructure and the supplier activities;
  • Manage the Clean Technology Infrastructure suppliers on the aligned planning and their performance through periodical business reviews;
  • Set-up and maintain SLA and SOP with Clean tech suppliers;
  • Build relationships with wide range of internal and external stakeholders, for example: Procurement, Suppliers, local
  • Operations teams;
  • Ensure in time ordering of components and service in relation to Clean technology in the service warehouses;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in your field.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor or MSc. in Supply Chain Management
  • 5-10 years experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics position in the High Tech industry
  • Experience / knowledge of Clean Technology Infrastructure (Clean Rooms, Clean Benches, ESD)
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with Service Logistics and/or managing suppliers
  • Experience with SAP
  • Process standardization
  • LEAN
