Job Mission :
Would you like to lead a group of talented e-beam experts and be part of the development of the latest and most advanced e-beam inspection and metrology technology for semiconductor applications?We are looking for a group leader to manage a team of SEM new technology development to close the critical technical gaps and reduce risks for our product and technology roadmap, to support HMI business success.
This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
Develop andmanage world class SEM technical expert team, responsible for hiring andgrowing high level talents to ensure team has sufficient knowledge andcompetence to lead next generation e-beam technology development.
Responsiblefor long time capability plan and annually budget alignment.
Align andmaintain research PBS list by working together with Technical program,System Engineer, Function clusters.
Lead team tofind out technical direction and solutions for critical gaps and risks ontechnology roadmap, by tracking industry trend, understanding advanceprocess, customer requirements and new user cases.
Lead team todemonstrate the technical concept and solutions on system or by buildingdemonstrators.
Conductknowledge transfer and knowledge sharing with D&E engineering teams,and mentoring/coaching junior engineer teams.
Overseeresearch and development projects and activities, analyze results andprogress, provide instructions and recommendations based on findings.
Build strongconnections with internal/external research team and institute, obtainindustry technology trend and direction.
EmbeddedASML culture into the team and ensure the team work and collaborationwithin the group.
SupportPeople Performance Management - align targets with employees, givefeedback, have regular routines with employees, a mid-year review dialogueand a final appraising.
Guaranteethe quality of the deliverables of your resources
Align withproject leaders, system engineers, and function architects on programissues, risks, scope changes and key decision inputs
Drive improvements on processes and ways of working
Education and experience
PhD in electron optics, physics, EE or related area.
10+ years of relevant work related experience in semiconductor industry, semiconductor equipment industry. E-beam semiconductor equipment experience is preferred.
Experienced in mentoring, coaching and motivating employees, and growing team’s competences.
Demonstrated experience in leading technology development and team management.
Understanding of scientific research methods and strong curiosity.
The successful candidate will not only have excelled in their technical field, but will have demonstrated inter-personal and communications strengths.
Hands-on experience with complex system design and build, characterization, troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable in electron optics and its related physics background
