Background information

Within the Global Manufacturing Organization we have the factory EUV (EF). The increasingly higher demand from our customers challenge global factories for its delivery capabilities to meet annual output requirements.
Recruitment of new staff, their onboarding and learning into their jobs, reducing time to competence, knowledge management, as well as embedding this in each factory’s organization, remains an area of focus. Manufacturing needs a breakthrough in organizational growth to achieve target baseline output and performance consistently. In this project, four Workstreams are working on the problem statement and actions/ advise to implement the actions: Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Attrition.
The Attrition Workstream is focusing on way to reduce the current attrition for this group which will enable us to ramp up as planned.

Your assignment

As an HR intern you will be fully involved in the activities in this workstream, like data analyses, communication, providing solution and ideas. Currently the following action items are proposed, but this is work in progress and we need further help and support in creating this plan, and rolling these actions out globally across the various GMF sites.
A: Career Development – creating more transparency around career paths and offering help and support to employees in building their career at ASML GMF (looking at career paths and creating more opportunities for growth).
B: Personal Relationships – installing regular check in/ stay interviews with employees and new hires so they can share what’s important to them (what’s on their mind and in their heart).
C: Improve leadership capability for people managers and ensure engagement stays "top of mind".

Your profile

You are:

  • a bachelor or master student in HR or Organizational Psychology;
  • a student with strong collaboration, presentation and communication skills;
  • having knowledge and experience in an international organization;
  • proficient in English.

This is a bachelor graduation project or a master apprentice internship or a master graduation project. The start date of this assignment is as soon as possible with a minimum duration of 6 months for minimum 3 days per week. Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole period) for our apprentice internship assignments.
