Job Mission:

The mission of the System Integration department is to integrate modules and software into a proto system and prove that the system can meet the specifications. As a System Integration Project Lead you are the linking pin between the business context of our deliverables and the execution of them. You are responsible for defining and managing the plan to achieve the integration goal and keep it aligned with your stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities

As a System Integration project lead you manage the integration of development deliverables (hardware and software) on the full system prototypes while balancing the ASML business interests. You organize the project, manage escalations and ensure that all stakeholders are up to date on the project status and aligned on the next steps. In addition, you take responsibility for the daily progress of the integration work on the prototypes and the related issue tracking and follow up.

On this position you will:
Define and manage the integration plan to achieve theintegration goal
Set priorities and adjust integration plan in case of disturbances
Ensure the status of the integration contents andstrategy are aligned with all stakeholders (Program management,Development teams, Manufacturing, Customer Support, Logistics)
Lead your team of System Integration engineers in orderto reduce system integration related product risks as efficiently aspossible and take the responsibility for all system integration activities
Be responsible for the daily progress of theintegration work on the prototypes and the related issue tracking andfollow up

Education and experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience into the direction of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Physics, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering

Proven 5+ years of experience in project management of complex high tech systems in amulti-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
Proven 5+ years of experience in development, integration, testing and realization of high tech products for volume manufacturing.
Experience in planning and barrier resolution in a dynamic development environment
Knowledge of System Integration methodology, (recovery) sequences, metrology and measurement systems and/or complex system troubleshoot and diagnosis is a plus.

This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA .It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)
A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
