Introduction to the job
As Project Manager, you act as a staff member in sourcing & supply chain Asia organization.You lead a few strategic and long-term initiatives, across departments and sectors, in the field and with headquarter in Veldhoven Netherlands.
Role and responsibilities
Those initiatives and projects include but not limited to
people competency consolidation and development program across sourcing, quality, logistics and product lifecycle departments, for next 2-3 years
to establish management review meetings (MOR / MOP / Carousel), and follow-up on critical actions to closure
to establish management dashboard (KPI), management reports and priorities progress report, at sourcing & supply chain Asia sector level
to optimize, document and train end-to-end business process and ownership mapping within sourcing & supply chain departments, and with other sectors including factories and Veldhoven
to lead a few strategic business and operational initiatives (i.e. break-through projects) across department and sector boundary, i.e. as overall initiative owner.Initiative / projects such as installed base spare part local repair for local usage in multiple Asian countries, new supplier development program to map out asia capability, etc.
You manage and take ownership of your work, while demonstrating a strong drive to achieve meaningful end results and show determination in face of obstacles. You are able to signal process and operations improvement opportunities and continuously seek for new ways of working in our fast changing environment, to improve the quality of the overall organization work deliverables.
You are the linking pin between sourcing and supply chain team, and various ASML departments in Asian countries and headquarter in Veldhoven Netherland.You communicate effectively with all stakeholders and identify issues which require action.
Education and experience
Bachelor or Master degree.MBA is a plus.
10 year or more work experience in international environment.Experience of sales key account management, strategic sourcing or procurement, and/or people management of a complex organization in Fortune 500 companies is a plus.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin, with TOEIC > 800
Excellent communication skills, with stakeholders at all levels of organizations, internal with executives, and external with suppliers
Excellent with strategic thinking, and could consolidate complex piece by piece information into a structural project plan driving for regular progress and review
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 / Powerpoint
