Introduction to the job

ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. Multi e-Beam Inspection tools are part of ASML’s holistic lithography portfolio. ASML has an Electron Optical competence center in Delft with multi-disciplinary teams where we have combined Research with Development, Engineering and Industrialization.

ASMLs electron optical competence center is located in Delft. At the Delft premises we operate a clean room, mechanical prototyping facility and an electrical lab. We undertake various activities in these facilities such as research tests, product integration and verification tests. For these activities we need to manage our incoming parts and components, and also their storage. The Operational Support ensures that our operations run smoothly by managing supplier orders and associated logistics, but is also involved in warehousing and supporting production planners.

Role and responsibilities

The Operational Support ensures that our operations run smoothly by managing supplier orders and associated logistics, but is also involved in warehousing and supporting production planners.

As Operational Support you would;
• Assist in supply chain matters, such as interfacing with suppliers and initiating/tracking material orders
• Own and execute outgoing and incoming logistics
• Manage warehouse and stock
• Support the Production Planner in ensuring the success of our work center
• Support the Research team in managing acceptance and storage of parts and components
• Manage and coordinate inventory; such as tooling and test setups

Education and experience

You have an MBO or (higher) vocational degree in logistics, supply chain or operations management. If your education does not align with this, but you feel that you are equipped to meet the challenge, please do not hesitate to apply.

• Suitable experience through work history or education in operations management
• Understanding of supply chain management is a plus
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Experience with MES systems is a plus
• Experience with the technology- or manufacturing industry is a plus
