As Team Leader (TL) you lead the activities of one of two weekend teams in proto integration group in the D&E P&I EUV System Integration department. The team consists of approximately 10 Prototype engineers who are responsible to operate, test, qualify and release the newestEUV systems. As TL for proto integration weekend shift, you will be part of a proto integration GL/TL management team that together manages the activities in line with the proto and system integration department strategy, technology/product roadmap and policies in order to realize the agreed objectives.

Roles & responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing development of the engineers in the team, participation in group strategy definition, competence development, quality of team’s deliverables, operational excellence and efficiency.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and perform (D&P) people & manage allocation
    • Collect inputs and initial calibration for Develop & Perform (D&P) dialogues, assists GL in D&P dialogues, participate in target definition
    • People development, oversee overall development of engineers in your team; focus on competence as well as personal developments and operational excellence
    • Recruitment, screen CVs and participate in job interviews
    • Team building, stimulate team work, observe + resolve frictions & frustrations
  • Strategy
    • Participation in group mission/vision development
    • Stakeholders management; as main point of contact towards key stakeholders
  • Team safety, quality and efficiency
    • Safety; be a role model

    • Adherence to processes and contribution to way of working

Bachelors or Masters level, preferably in technical domain (physics, industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering).


  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and lead a team in high-pressure environment
  • Experience or affinity with system integration will be an added advantage

Context of the position

As Team Leader Proto Integration you will report to a Group Leader in the EUV System Integration department which is part of the Performance & Integration cluster in Development & Engineering. You will have interfaces to stakeholders inside and outside the Performance & Integration cluster and in other sectors such as factory, program management and customer support.

As a Team Leader weekend shift, you have a specific shift roster matching to the one with engineers in your team; office hours on Friday and weekly alternating shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Early shift: 6.00- 14.30 hrs

Late shift:13.30 - 22.00 hrs

Other information

Traveling is not a structural part of the role.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
