Introduction to the job

The Legal & Compliance Portfolio Manager will contribute in setting up and maintaining the ASML Legal & Compliance (“L&C”) Operations & Strategy Execution Framework, supporting the ASML L&C Department in the building, maintenance and execution of its annual portfolio of Projects and Programs, Communication and Awareness Plan, Reporting.

Role and responsibilities

L&C operations & strategy execution framework:

  • Develop, maintain and drive the delivery of the L&C Operations & Strategy Execution Framework Program
  • Ensure continuous alignment and coordination between all actors involved in the L&C Operations & Strategy Execution, both within the L&C Department and within the rest of the Company, becoming a trusted partner working and influencing cross-functionally
  • Drive the boost of the maturity level of the L&C department, measuring frequently the level of maturity of the entire department

L&C program and projects:

  • Be responsible for the annual portfolio and roadmap of projects and initiatives
  • Drive the execution of the L&C portfolio and roadmap via the recurrent portfolio review
  • Lead the operational coordination of the L&C Transformation Program, working closely with internal L&C and external stakeholders (i.e. consultants), developing project plans, process documentation and implementation materials
  • Lead the setup, maintenance and execution of the L&C Program and Project Management Center, enabling the L&C Department in working in a structured way
  • Provide on-demand support and advice for Program/Project related work
  • Drive the achievement of results delivering creative and effective outcomes
  • Coordinate the implementation of technology implementations within the L&C Department
  • Enable the change within the L&C Department, delivering solutions that work for the involved stakeholders

Reporting, communications, technology and team:

  • Setup, maintain and coordinate the L&C Communications and Awareness Program
  • Develop regular reporting documents and playbooks
  • Lead business intelligence and reporting tools
  • Lead the organization and facilitation of Legal & Compliance Operations and Strategy Execution meetings and events
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation, assisting with the development of such solutions where appropriate, and, once developed, embed best practices
  • Work closely with the L&C organization and the rest of the Company to support the implementation of new services and new technologies to serve the L&C department
  • Support execution of the L&C Operations matters

Education and experience

  • 6+ years of experience in the role of Portfolio/Program/Project Manager
  • Understanding and experience on Legal & Compliance related matters
