Introduction to the job

Within the Computer Systems Electronics group we are looking for a GTL / Scrum Master. In this function as a:
- Scrum Master you will organize all daily and periodic events of a EDEV scrum team and manage impediments making sure the designers in the scrum team can deliver what is expected. You are also responsible to manage multi-disciplinary deliverables from sectors (sourcing, logistics, factory, field) and suppliers outside of the ART (train)
- GTL you are responsible in coaching and developing the people in the team and supporting the GL in DAP and PPM.

EDEV background is a must and working with multidisciplinary team and or managing multidisciplinary deliverables is a pre.

Role and responsibilities

You and your team are key contributors to the development of computer systems modulus in ASML’s lithographic products. You enable the team to drive the development from roadmap to system integration.
You will manage a team within the Computer Systems Electronics group, responsible for specifying,and integrating computer related modules in our products. You pro-actively drive the development work in your team and participate in reviewing designs. But above all, you will use your leadership and teamwork skills to solve problems and optimize team performance. You also interact with suppliers and manage cross sector (sourcing, logistics, industrialisation) deliveries needed for our modules.

Scrum Master:
• Creates focus in the team by shielding them from external interferences
• Scrum master will protect and educate the team to resist influences from the outside.
• To challenge the team to deliver more, remove the impediments, Alignment outside of the train
• Ensures timely delivery of committed items on the backlog of the agile team
• Monitor and report progress, guidance on way of working
• Monitor and improve team dynamics, drive team/ART execution improvements
• Facilitate the creation and estimation of stories
• Ensures dependencies and risks are managed by the team
• Manage suppliers and cross sector (sourcing, logistics, industrialisation) deliveries needed for our modules
• Communicate outside the train and toward suppliers (Manages suppliers and outsourcing execution (rituals))
• Ensures the pre-conditions are in place to start a work item (Definition of Ready)
• Ensures alignment with other Scrum Masters on dependencies

Group Team Leader:
• Manage ~10 resources in our group, working with team members who take operational responsibility within projects under your supervision.
• Act as a people leader by sharing vision and setting direction for the group.
• Allocate people to projects in line with program needs.
• Review technical solutions proposed, technical product documentation produced by the group and coaching of group members.
• Continuous focus on efficiency of the group. Based on this, structural improvements need to be defined and implemented when necessary.
• Define and implement the competence and resource roadmap for our group.
• Support GL in performance review process

Education and experience

• Bachelor (HBO) or Master degree (WO) in electrical engineering or similar level acquired by working experience.
• Experience in coaching and developing a group of technical professionals.
• Solid experience in developing, integrating and testing electronics.
• Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments.
