Introduction to the job
The EUV Source Sequence Architect is responsible for generating and owning the sequence roadmap, driving the optimization of processes to manufacture and service ASML machines within requirements and proactively influencing the design teams to ensure the end product meets all of the IC requirements. Starting from the design phase, you will pro-actively steer cycle time breakdown, improvements, and risks and costs reduction. The Sequence Architect has the responsibility to work with the Functional Clusters (FCs) to cascade the specifications for Source/System level down for each function and validate during the design phase that we can achieve the requirements in conjunction with System Engineering (SE) and System Integration (SI).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
- IC-07 & IC-16 responsibilities:
- Contribute to the SPS/SDS on Cycle Time and MTTRs
- Drive the definition of the high level blueprintfor both Manufacturing and Service
- Drive the Cycle time/MTTR analysis and waterfalldevelopment
- Lead sequence technical risk assessment & riskburndown
- Contribute to the sequence integration &validation strategy, defining how to mitigate the identified risks onproto and pilot systems
- Close the feedback loop for cycle time fromspecifications (SDS) via design (sequence) to actuals (execution) and back
- Keep the blueprint contents and strategy alignedwith all stakeholders (SE, Industrialization PL, PCM, PDM)
- Drive and constantly enhance alignment between SystemEngineering, Sequence & Availability architects, functional clusters,customer support and the EUV Factory
Education and experience
- Requires a Bachelorof Science (BS) Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, SoftwareEngineering or related technical degree.
- A minimum ofnine (9) years total development experience
- Productdevelopment experience preferred
Technical knowledge of ASML EUV systems is preferred, as well as:
- Knowledge of way of workingwithin ASML EUV Factory & CS
- Experience with new productintroductions
