The Dock Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound company equipment and materials. To interface and provide guidance to the trades and engineers for material handling of company equipment and materials on the customer’s dock. All transportation and in-fab documentation will be required to be filled out and checked for accuracy during dock activities. They will assist in scheduling equipment/materials that are inbound and outbound. They will assist and provide direction to material handlers who will move items in or out of the clean fab. A key aspect of the role is to ensure dock schedules are efficient and effective within the demanding and fast paced environment.

Looking for a strong safety minded, enthusiastic person with can do attitude. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving ability. Must have excellent work ethic with strong communication skills to engage with both the customer and internal teams.

*Position is located in N. Phoenix and will support the new TSMC fab*

Role and responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

-Coordinate customer’s dock with scheduled and non-scheduled company equipment/materials and maintain inventory accuracy and full traceability of all materials moving in and out of the customer site and to and from the temporary warehouse.
-Complete Pre and Post dock Agendas within given timeframes.
-Efficiently control customer dock activities and company equipment/materials and support material handling.
-Assist in the scheduling of transportation and customer dock activities.
-Escalation issues associated with customer dock activities.
-Identify and implement improvements in coordination with a central program team.
-Assist in the planning of materials movements with project teams.
-Ensure all customer housekeeping requirements are satisfied.
-Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture in the team. Must have a safety first mentality through proactively speaking up about concerns, following PPE requirements and setting an example for others to follow.

Education and experience

-High School Diploma required, or equivalent experience.
-College Degree preferred (Engineering or Supply Chain focused).
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
-Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred (non-specific).
-Must have 1+ years of experience in a logistics environment.
-Cleanroom and semiconductor industry experience is a benefit.

Responsibilities:
-Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

-May require travel dependent on business needs.
