As a business analyst at ASML it is your role to collect, analyze and translate our data into business insights. You will support the generation of business insights by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies on these sources in order to enable optimization of ASML and customer value.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • For the Integrated Business Planning team, your role will be to provide support to the Demand Planning and Customer Service Supply Chain teams. You will work to provide input on demand forecasts and inventory target setting as well as supporting ad-hoc projects impacting operations. More specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Generate business insights by translating data into visuals, reports, and dashboards
  • Support in formulating problem statements and performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns
  • Apply leading analytics tools and technologies to develop in-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data on the topic at hand
  • Interact with technical and non-technical (cross-sector) stakeholders and be able to present and explain analytical problems, approach, results, and recommendations
  • Interpret statistical model outputs and translate into forecasts for factory and financial planning
  • Support business with reporting, analysis, and improvement proposals
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management relationships

Education and experience

We are looking for candidates with high potential to grow the role, challenge themselves, and contribute to ASML’s success.

  • Relevant master’s degree (technical or business administration) and 5 years of professional experience
  • Relevant work experience which utilized analysis of data to make informed decision
  • Experience with financial or other data analysis and analytic tools (tool examples: Excel, Spotfire, Tableau)
  • Experience in or the knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • SQL or Business Objects experience is a plus
  • Strong English communication skills (written & oral)
