Introduction
Are you our new Quality Supplier Manager, that will engage our suppliers to drive for Zero-Defects and the next level of Supplier Quality Performance? The Quality Supplier Manager (QSM) works in the department Sourcing and Supply Chain Management representing ASML’s Quality logistics interface to its supply base, responsible for the Material Availability for our ASML factories.

With today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers. Here over 100 chains are managed up to seven tiers deep, addressing potential bottlenecks and supply risks before they impact our customers. It must handle the increased complexity of ASML’s systems while reducing cost of ownership for customers.
To do this, the supply chain- and logistics engineers work with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle times for components, modules and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and customer value.
Also the suppliers’ quality, flexibility, cycle time reductions, move rate compliance and on-time delivery reliability are monitored, driving supplier development in all areas. This to ensure ASML’s supply keeps pace with technological developments and can adapt to changing market conditions.
Job Mission
As a Quality Supplier Manager you are:
Responsible for the management ofQuality and Operational Performance of a selected number of KeySuppliers,
The Quality interface betweenthe supplier and ASML. You will work with suppliers and ASMLStakeholders to find structural solutions to MaterialQuality Non-Conformities. In this way drivingthe Business ProcessImprovements and managing and closing theloop with the ASML Stakeholders.
Member of themulti-disciplinairy Supplier Account Team, that strategicallymanages these Suppliers (SAT team).
Key focus Quality areas are Quality Management Systems, OperationalExcellence, Quality Control, Complaint Handling, Configuration and ChangeManagement (All related to Quality elements as stated in the QLTCS*Supplier Profile)

Job Description
As a QSM you manage your Suppliers’ Performance on Product Quality. This according to specifications and in adherence to various quality agreements. You make sure that your supplier delivers and executes according to the existing agreements. If required, you drive changes in the Supplier Quality Management processes to ensure the future’s quality of the product.

While using your knowledge in quality management, analytical thinking, professional network and excellent people skills, you will be responsible for the following:
Quality Assurance: Improve supplier quality performanceby driving execution of existing quality agreements and improvementactions by your Suppliers, as well as triggering internal actions forchanges in product or process design to eliminate Material Notification(MN’s) and Deviation Notifications (DN’s);
Participate in SupplierAudits to identify gaps in supplier quality management systemagainst ASML Supplier Profile requirements. You manage the supplier todefine and execute Improvement Plans to structurally resolve open itemsand de-risk the supplier;
Coaching the Supplier to use ASML designedsystems (e.g. portals) and processes, procedures, quality tools andtechniques to increase supplier maturity level;
Validation and acceptanceof Product Readiness (quality) to be released towardsvolume operations;
Ensure execution of supplierrelated Issue Resolution: MN’s, DN’s, AIR (ASML IssueResolution);
Ensure that the definition andexecution of the Supplier Quality Roadmap is in line withASML quality performance ambitions;
Leading quality escalations andorganizing cross sector teams, including supplier, for solvingdisturbances in the factory and field, due to material quality
Education
You have a Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Optical, Industrial) and a Green or Black Belt / Lean Six Sigma experience including tooling (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D)
Experience
Experience in managing Supplieron Quality Performance, preferably in complex High-Tech and lowvolume industry
Experience in QualityImprovement & Operational Excellence in Manufacturingenvironment
Experience in participating inimprovement projects across the Supply Chain
Experience in auditing (ISO9001:2015 or equivalent), quality tools 
Experience in complex workenvironment with multiple stakeholders

Context of the position
The organization you’reworking for consists of 30+ QSMs, 30+ LSMs (Logistics Supplier Managers)and 70+ OSCs (Operational Supplier Coordinators);
Internal: As a member ofthe ASML Supplier Account Team (SAT) you work closelytogether with the Sourcing Lead (SL),the Logistics Supplier Manager (LSM)and Technical Supplier Manager (TSM)/Supplier Quality Engineer(SQE).
External: Quality managementsupplier counterparts and depending on complexity, supplier managingdirectors.
Stakeholders: Suppliers, StrategicSourcing and Procurement, Global Quality, Development & Engineering,Factory, Field representatives
