Introduction

As HR Information and Knowledge Manager you are the Knowledge Base and People Portal frontpage owner you will act at the crossing where HR meets Communications and IT. ASML has set up a People Portal as central hub for their employees and managers to find answers they have and to trigger HR related transactions. The People Portal (running on ServiceNow) is used for HR Case Management and Knowledge Management. The People Portal plays a vital role in the experience ASML would like to provide to their employees.

In this role you will focus this experience and further innovate our People Portal. You will be responsible for the HR People Portal strategy and implementation. Further enabling the HR Service Delivery Model, to ensure an as high as possible ‘’first contact resolution’’ via Tier 0, the People Portal, to decrease the number of contacts in the next Tiers. You act as a subject matter expert towards Business key players and Business process owners in the ASML organization.

Role & Responsibilities

As a successful HR Information and Knowledge Manager you are first of all responsible for the HR People Portal strategy and implementation, to enable the HR Service Delivery Model. This to ensure an as high as possible ‘’first contact resolution’’ via Tier 0 to decrease the number of contacts in the next Tiers. You are also responsible for a user-friendly People Portal. Next to this, you function as the HR information architect, which makes you responsible for the design principles of HR communication platforms. Together with HR, key-stakeholders and other functions, you align on the Integrated People Portal set-up, in the offering of Knowledge and Services and ensures an end-to-end approach. You review and validate offered content (design principles, quality & consistency) and feedback from the entire Knowledge Base to ensure up-to-date HR content of high quality. Furthermore, you define and align metrics and KPI’s, ensure availability of reports & global metrics on KB usage & feedback and review & assign feedback regarding Knowledge. To meet the KPI’s, you drive continues improvements based on feedback, reports & metrics.

Further responsibilities of this role are:

  • Coordinating of announcements & KA’s to be published on the frontpage of the People Portal with HR Communications.
  • Supporting with incoming questions related to KM in the system.
  • Adjusting configuration (if needed with support IT). It is important that you have an understanding of the technical aspects and are able to explain them to business stakeholders in understandable language.
  • Administration of the ownership groups.
  • Managing the HR network of Knowledge owners and joins/drives the Knowledge owners network of other functions.
  • Developing / providing training to the owners / writers regarding the functionality and the writing guidelines.
  • Participating in initiatives and improvement projects regarding HR processes and systems.

Education & Experience

As HR Information and Knowledge Base Manager, you have:

  • a Bachelor or Master degree in field of HR and/or Communications;
  • solid experience in HR, HR change manager, digital HR communications or similar positions;
  • proven experience in HR business processes, Knowledge Management and/or People Portals.

Also you have experience in usability, digital media and communications and you are an IT savvy with knowledge of HR systems, preferably ServiceNow.

The Senior HR Service Management specialist position is part of the worldwide HR Processes and Information (P&I) team. The mission of P&I is to be a trusted partner and enable our stakeholders in their mission by providing a consistent, efficient and customer centric HR system landscape and people insights which inform business decisions. P&I is the functional owner of the main HR systems and is responsible for HR reporting and analytics.

This is a full-time position (40 hours).
