Introduction to the job
Industrial space manager’s mission is to keep cleanroom and engineering lab in order, clean and safe.
Role and responsibilities
Responsible for cleanroom and engineering labs 5S+1, including organize cleanroom and engineering labs according to 5S+1 standard, conduct 5S+1 audit and prepare monthly report to management.
Working with machine owners and lab owners establish cleanroom and engineering lab management rules and educate engineers who are working in these areas.
Patrol cleanroom and engineering labs daily.Correct violation and come up corrective actions to prevent repeat violation.
Work with System Integration engineers and engineers from all function clusters to keep cleanroom and engineering lab well organized and clean.
Work with EHS to ensure cleanroom and engineering labs as safety environment for engineers work there safely.
Maintain engineering lab Green Label system. When Green Label is expired, working with Product Safety, EHS, FM and lab owners to get Green Label renewed.
Education and experience
High school diploma or associated degree.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Be able to communicate effectively throughout different levels within the organization.
Team player with experience working in matrix management environment.
Can get people on board (influencing without formal power/negotiating skills)
Willing to speak up and working with all employees in the company.
Convince design engineers with reasoning.

Main office is in San Jose with spending most time in cleanroom and test labs.
Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with manager, co-workers and engineers from all sectors.
Must be willing to work in a clean room and lab environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
Prepare monthly status report for management.

The California base annual salary/hourly range for this role is currently $38.40-$64.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
