We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join the Business Lines team at ASML. Do you have what it takes to develop and deliver messaging and communications to a global audience? Role and responsibilities
You will join the Business Lines Internal Communications team and you will report to the head of Business Lines communications.
The Communications Specialist will provide communications support and consultation to business leaders and projects, initiatives and departments within one of ASML’s business units ( with approx.1000 -5000 people), in collaboration with and under the supervision of the communications business partner for the business unit, who is responsible for scoping communications initiatives and accountable for the delivery.
This role has a development path towards a communications business partner role, and it is our intention to hire a candidate with the potential to make this step within a few years.
Responsibilities:
- Consultation involves advice and guidance on communications strategies and tactics.
- Proactively supports communications objectives and prioritiesfor the specific needs of the unit in agreement with Senior executives and the BL communications team.
- When required, the Specialist may also support external communications initiatives.
- Provides business insights to other Comms teams
- Drives the execution of communication activities, initiatives and projects themselves or by assembling the right expertise and support (incl. from suppliers, from within the wider Communications team and from the business)
- Measures and reports on effectiveness of communications
Education and experience
- BA/BS or higher
- Science/technology/business background a plus
- 8 years of relevant experience in internal or marketing communications
- Previous experience in external communications or marcom roles would be a plus
- Experience in high-tech, complex, fast growingcompanies is a plus
- Understanding of business and complex corporateenvironments is a plus
- Previous experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, with a track record of generating results is a given.
