Occupational Health Specialist

Introduction to the job

Supports the local CS team/employees to ensure their health with planning and delivering all the health programs to employees.

Role and responsibilities

Support EHS manager to design OH program
Support management to ensure a safe way of working in the region
Monitor and process with compliance to local legal requirements e and customer demand.
Liaise with the customer representatives on health subjects.
Ensure that the required data to manage safety is adequately recorded, verified and administrated.
Conduct Accident, incident and near miss investigation
Close the incident reports after evaluating effectiveness of the actions taken
Arrange and/or carry out health trainings according to CS EHS training program (eg: PPE, Ergonomics, etc.)
Advise the regional EHS manager on adequate budget allocation for the required EHS activities.
Rollout new health related requirements:
Actively participate in activities within the WW EHS Community
Other tasks assigned by Reginal EHS Manager

The occupational health specialist is based in Shanghai. He/she reports to China EHS regional manager.

Education and experience

Occupational Health management or EHS related education background
Preferable Bachelor’s degree in an medical/health related study or comparable medical/health related studies/experience.
Occupational Health management working experience, preferred to have experience of developing, driving and execution OH program, CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) would be a plus.
Analytic, abstract thinking, good communication skills, initiative, independent, sharing knowledge, stress tolerance and teamwork.
You are a team player, communicate proactively, have a healthy business sense and are on top of new opportunities which add value to our core business.
Good written and spoken English with Didactical skills and Cultural awareness.
Experience working in operation and/or field and have understanding of wow.
All EHS safety CBT’s and safety trainings required for CS employees
