Introduction to the job

At ASML, the customer always comes first. With more than 6,000 customer support (CS) employees, including service engineers and applications specialists, we work round-the-clock to make sure our systems in our customers’ fabs are running smoothly and minimize downtime as much as possible. CS infrastructure management plays a key role in enabling this.

CS Infrastructure management operates on the edge between IT and business. As project manager you ensure roll-out of business infrastructure and related solutions, used by our engineers at customer locations.

To deliver good service performance these engineers need high quality data from the ASML equipment. The data is to be interpreted in various applications that have the opportunity to merge into a workflow matching tool suite. The applications are based on a combination of intelligent analysis modules and design + service expertise. The applications are to be used on the sites of ASML’s customers (tsmc. Samsung etc). These need to meet customer and ASML security requirements and are required to meet 99.9% availability standards. These applications are mostly functionally maintained by Customer Support (CS) Infrastructure Management. Data needed for these applications is highly dependent on the infrastructure which is maintained by CS Infrastructure Management as well. In order to provide this service CS Infrastructure Management consists of highly skilled architects, application managers, experts and project managers

ASML delivers advanced lithographic equipment for the semiconductor industry. To minimize costly downtime of these complex machines, our chip manufacturing customers are typically supported 24/7 by ASML field service engineers. Their task is to effectively diagnose and repair equipment failures.

However, close interaction and alignment with CS field and our suppliers (IT, D&E and 3rd party supplier) is key here as well
  • Collaborate with our Business Application Managers on ensuring application (user) performance management is brought to the next level of maturity
  • You are responsible for supplier management towards out 3rd party software development partner.
  • Depending on your expertise you can be asked to play a “content” role in a program as well

Education and experience

Master (or Bachelor) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

You prove to have at least 8+ year experience in any or more of the below areas:
