Introduction to the job

This Security Specialist role will work together and closely with local Security Officer to protect AMSL Information assets in local country.

Role and responsibilities

Supportingthe strategy and roadmaps applying to the local country. Throughoutproject lifecycle.
EnsuringASML Security strategy and policies are always aligned where appropriatesystem and application security controls enforced with well-designedprocedures or necessary monitoring. At local initiative/change requestfrom security perspective, and manage documentation.
Executingand supporting specific security related changes, risk management tasks, physical/customer/supplier security topics andactions.
Conductsecurity awareness training for local users and execute awareness programtasks. Develop localized training or awareness materials when necessary.
Forcountry specific risk Management and improvement, continuously identifyingrisks and tracking and executing improvement actions.
SupportASML global Cyber Defense Center (CDC) to ensure a timely response on anymajor Information security incidents/crises for local country.
Tracklocal security related news, identify potential impact on ASML, and haveSecurity Officer/CDC updated in time.
Continuouslyassess and report compliance on security by pulling data from system on aregular basis, analyze security trends and incident root causes, anddeliver reports.
Responsiblefor collecting and consolidating security related updates internally (fordashboard or showing compliance) or even externally (local news,regulation related changes). Analyze and identify applicable articles, andpropose response plans.
Togetherwith Factory/ICS Security Manager and Sector Security Risk Manager inunderstanding security requirements in ASML Factories/ICS and ensuremutually agreed solutions can be achieved.

Education and experience

Technical/IT/informatics backgroundbachelor degree.
CISSP/CISMor comparable certifications desired.
Knowledgeof project management (Prince-2 / PMBOK/APMP) as plus.
Familiarwith any IT/Security/Risk assessment frameworks as plus. e.g.
CSC Top 20 Controls
NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-30
ISO27001, ISO27005

More than 5 years’ experience as an Information Security professional in two or more areas:
ConductingInformation Security Gap Assessments or other security assessments
Translatingthe output of security assessment into security baseline/plan for the ITservice
Communicatingwith stakeholders and business users
SecurityAwareness training for executives and employees
ProjectManagement related to IT/Security services
Experiences at factories or semiconductor industry is a plus.

Solidjob experience in dedicated security roles. CISSP/CISM or comparable onesas plus.
Knowledgeof project management (Prince-2 / PMBOK/APMP) as plus. Proven workingexperience in project management
Technical/IT/informatics backgroundbachelor degree.
Knowledgeof IT/Security/Risk assessment frameworks as plus. e.g.
ISO security related frameworks. E.g. ISO27001
NIST frameworks related to security. Or any equivalent/well known industrial ones.
Abilityto identify issues and control weakness, translate complex process,application and IT/Information security technical controls into risk

Goodtechnical knowledge of IT/Information Security
Provenworking experience in project management
Goodcommunication, time management & multi-tasking skills
Abilityto understand broader business issues

The position is based out of the Asia Region Security team to the Regional Security Officer Asia which is reporting hierarchically and functionally to the CISO of ASML. This role also works closely with Asia Security Risk Manager & Factory/ICS Security Manager roles in local but also Security Risk Managers or Technology Security teams in central teams.

Good English communication, writing and reading skills.Also local language.
