Role and responsibilities

As a (Project and Group) Team Lead for Industrialization Engineering in the Electronics Development department, you plan, organize, and track all industrialization related activities of the electronic / electrical development in a multidisciplinary team.

You also support the Group Manager with Competence Management activities and perform the People Performance Management as well as the Development Action Plan for your team.

These activities cover the complete scope of electronics industrialization, from architecture definition up to and including design review, procedure creation, integration, factory & onsite at Customers support, and transfer of deliverables to Operations, for both existing and new ASML products. Typical team sizes are between 7 and 12 FTE.

The (Project and Group) Team Lead is responsible for the following:

  • Set up and maintain a work breakdown and planning, including staffing and budget;
  • Define deliverables of engineers, including coaching;
  • Execute the team plan, report on it, and pro-actively align it with the Project Leader, operational sectors, and suppliers;
  • Drive timely delivery of the technical implementation of design choices;
  • Secure the quality of the deliverables;
  • Drive the identification of bottlenecks by the team, prioritize them and implement recovery/mitigation actions;
  • Drive the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities in the team;
  • Set up a project organization and assist the Group Manager in appraisals and recruitment.
  • Support Group Manager in group activities (i.e. organize group meetings, workshops, offsites, etc.)
  • Perform the People Performance Management for the people assigned to
  • Support employees with their Development Action Plans

Education and experience

Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Broad knowledge of electronics in all its aspects: architecture, design, and integration;
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing and/or service processes
  • Multiple years of experience as production and/or service engineering and/or with new product introduction
  • Familiar with design processes
  • Experience as Team Lead (for people and project) or Project Lead within technical projects is a plus.
