Introduction to the job

The function to be filled in Linkou office (ASML Taiwan, Linkou)

Travel during the knowledge transfer and project collaboration with ASML Wilton DE is expected. Candidate must be able to able to travel several times a year to Wilton, USA.

Role and responsibilities

As a Mechatronics Engineer, your responsibility includes:

  • Able to provide quick containment with data driven analysis for RH issues.
  • Communicate the issue status updates with WLT D&E team
  • Able to clarify the issue for accurate problem description, root cause deep-dive and drive for solution from technical perspective and have helicopter view of issue
  • Evaluation of technical issues, risks, and dependencies for Projects and able to do mechatronics design in algorithm via Matlab.
  • Able to write decent design document and complete design review with peers.
    Interfacing with customers and other stakeholders to gather a complete understanding of their requirements.

Education and experience

  • Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering/ Electrical Engineering is preferred with motion/servo control background.
  • 3-5 years Industry experience within motion/stage/robot control domain.
  • Candidate should have direct experience in the design and test of mechatronic systems/equipment.
  • Familiar with MATLAB.
  • Ability to apply “classical control theory” and “digital control theory” including frequency domain, stability (Nyquist/Bode plots), Velocity-Acceleration-Jerk (VAJ), feedback/feedforward, dynamics, gain and phase, transfer functions, continuous/discrete feedback control, real time controls, etc.
