Does a high tech environment and strategic engagement with suppliers energize you? Within our IT department we would like to welcome an enthusiastic Global (Senior) IT Supplier Engagement Manager. The IT Supplier Engagement Manager is a challenging position reflecting the dynamics of ASML in the IT eco-landscape.
IT Solution Delivery is responsible for vendor management, contract management , managing supplier relationships and contracting across all IT services globally. The Global (Senior) IT Supplier Engagement Manager reports to the head of IT Solution Delivery.

Role and responsibilities

The (Senior) IT Supplier Engagement Manager is responsible for further strengthening and development of ASML’s Vendor Management team and will operate in the area of outsourced services. The IT Supplier Engagement Manager manages IT related Service Providers, including the selection of suppliers, management of relationships, management of contract lifecycle, execution of governance model and reviewing and monitoring of supplier performance for effectiveness and compliance.

The IT Supplier Engagement Manager:

  • Drives and Executes Global IT Vendor Management Strategy;
  • Maintains/enhances tools for use in supplier engagement, including supplier tracking tools and supplier performance scorecards and dashboards;
  • Maintains the sourcing and services grid including dependencies;
  • Assists IT Solution Delivery Management and IT procurement with IT vendor evaluation and selection criteria, procedures, and best practice tools and templates;
  • Manages service integration across multiple internal and external providers in a multivendor environment;
  • Ensures consistency and quality in contract documents and framework;
  • Assists procurement staff to negotiate with vendors in order to optimize the procurement of cost-effective services;
  • Managing life cycle of the contracts;
  • Creates contract, performance and relationship management procedures;
  • Performs audits of the adherence to security and compliancy policies;
  • Oversees correct execution of supplier governance principles;
  • Collects, consolidates and communicates detailed and summary supplier results to tactical and strategic level management on supplier performance;
  • With large contracts, manage tactical review meetings to ensure delivery against objectives and contract budgets, develop regular reports on contract milestones and performance, and inform internal customers, vendors and management of activities and progress through regular written and verbal communication;
  • Builds and maintains long term relationships with (inter)national suppliers;
  • Participates in Supplier Account Teams;
  • Develop and manage relationships with senior IT management, procurement, and finance representatives;
  • Ensures that the centralized repository of contract information is regularly updated.

Education and experience

  • Over 10 years of work experience in a professional, complex and international environment;
  • Team player with proven ability to successfully manage IT outsourced services contracts;
  • Minimum five years of experience in vendor management, including management of third-party vendors and contract negotiations;
  • Several years of experience in contract administration and vendor relations in a technology environment;
  • Experience working with legal and procurement staff;
  • Strong analytical and financial background;
  • Strong background in Agile (preferably in SAFe);
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices and certifications;
  • Bachelor / University - degree in a relevant area (e.g. Business Economics, Business Administration, Technology Management) combined with Services Management related courses.
