Introduction

Are you a student with a background of Physics, Mathematics or Data Science? Do you have experience in MATLAB and experimental physics? Then this internship might be interesting for you!

Background information

The EUV dose control functional group focuses on delivering the requested amount of light for wafer exposure. We deploy various types of sensor to measure, calibrate and control EUV light at source, reticle and wafer levels.

Our challenge is to measure the light accurately while spending as little time as possible. Dose control engineers study the field machine behavior, create models, test the algorithm with different boundary conditions, and propose improvements. We would like to further improve the performance of our algorithm with your help.

Your assignment

As an intern within the EUV dose control group, you will:

  • investigate the sensor calibration data;
  • improve the existing algorithm;
  • build up an offline calibration test to optimize the model input parameters.

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • have proficient experience in MATLAB;
  • experience in experimental physics and devices fabrication;
  • are fluent in English, both verbal and written.

This is a bachelor or master apprentice or graduation internship with a minimum duration of 4 months, 5 days per week, starting as soon as possible.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
