The sector Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is responsible for accommodating the growth of ASML by providing proper Real Estate (owned or leased) solutions worldwide. The sector CRE provides, maintains and operates safe plants & warehouses, optimized to support and enable ASML operations and inspiring offices that foster innovation and collaboration. Our mission is to provide ASML with adaptable, sustainable and Fit-for-Purpose real estate, facilities and services, now and in the future. We are managing an industrial and office environment for over 60 locations, housing over 30.000 employees. Globally up to 300 FTE are working for ASML CRE and approximately 3000 contractors are managed with suppliers.
The ASML Finance department operates in a dynamic environment where learning, commitment, business partnering, flexibility and continuous improvement are top of mind. We are responsible for driving cost effective transactional, fiscal and financial processes on a global scale, supporting business decisions, financial planning, action management, risk mitigation and maintaining appropriate corporate governance practices.
The job will require international travel on a regular basis.
Role and responsibilities
As Senior Business Controller Corporate Real Estate you are business partner on several levels by managing and deploying worldwide operational measures and processes within certain Sub-sectors of the Sector Corporate Real Estate. You will provide transparent information to enable effective decision making in achieving our strategic objectives. As the Business Insights & Control Product Delivery CRE Planning & Control team lead, you will manage and drive the team’s goals and deliverables. Work and lead by example in a cross-functional team environment to resolve dependencies and address challenges. Foster team development to position for growth and embrace challenges.
·Lead the global BI&C Product Delivery CRE Planning & Control team
·Partner with and drive the business to achieve their short term and long term objectives
·Drive optimization and improvement of processes, standardization of worldwide reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information
·Drive the business review cycle, drive planning and control processes for CRE Opex and preparing Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP), Target Annual Plan (TAP) and Monthly Operational Reviews (MOR)
·Participate in business improvement projects and validate the business cases
·Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities
·Plan, organize and prepare periodic cost reviews. Represent CRE sector in Business Line, value stream and sector review meetings
·Perform ad-hoc financial and business analyses
·Initiate and participate in improvement projects within finance
·Define and drive financial process improvements together with the accounting and controlling departments
Education and experience
- Senior Manager of BI&C Product Delivery Operations Consolidation and CRE Planning and Control, located in Veldhoven
- Finance Business Partner (FBP) sector CRE
- Sub-sector Business Teams
- Business Controllers in Business Lines, values streams and sectors
To qualify for this challenging position you need:
- Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent;
- Recognized professional controller qualification (RC) or accountancy qualification (RA) is a plus
- Fluent in English.
To qualify for this challenging position, you need:
·About 8-12 years in Finance, preferably in comparable business environment.
·Track record in financial or business control, familiar with budget processes and direct involvement in providing financial analytical support in large scale projects and businesses.
